OUR
PRACTICE
AZB & Partners’ defence team has worked with some of the world’s leading aerospace and defence companies. We understand the nature and depth of this sector’s complexities, particularly the process of public procurement and are able to deliver solution–oriented counsel within the regulatory and legal frameworks.
WHAT
WE DO
We offer advice on Foreign Direct Investment regulations applicable to the Indian defence sector and on procuring licenses, aid in the structuring of joint ventures, conduct due diligence of companies dealing in defence manufacturing activities and consult on standard requests for proposals under the Defence Procurement Procedures of the Indian Ministry of Defence. We also engage on issues related to the fulfilment of offset obligations and contracts between foreign original equipment manufacturers and their Indian offset partner(s).
