I’d like to see the sensitisation of Intellectual Property in the public, companies, judiciary and enforcement authorities, such that India truly becomes an economy of great proportions, which greatly depends on manufacturing. To achieve this goal, the benefits of IP should be taught in schools.
Akhilesh Kumar Rai is a senior partner in the firm’s Delhi office. He has experience advising clients on the IP aspects of large M&A transactions, and is also well-versed in other areas including prosecution and portfolio management work.
