Most Important Terms and Conditions for Investment Advisers

SEBI, by way of a Circular dated February 17, 2025, has mandated that all IAs, who enter into an investment advisory agreement must mandatorily include ‘Most Important Terms and Conditions for Investment Advisers’. The standardised format for the same has been provided by SEBI in this Circular, and these terms must be notified to the clients by June 30, 2025. Further, the IAs who enter into agreements post this Circular must disclose the same to clients and take consent as per the ‘Guidelines for Investment Advisers’ dated January 8, 2025.
