Hormazd Sorabjee and Naheed Sorabjee sell of their shareholding in Haymarket Sac Publishing (India) Private Limited (“Haymarket”)

AZB & Partners represented Hormazd Sorabjee and Naheed Sorabjee in connection with the sale of their shareholding in Haymarket Sac Publishing (India) Private Limited (“Haymarket”) to Valuedrive Technologies Private Limited (which owns and operates the used car retailing platform, “Spinny”). Haymarket is involved in the business of printing, publishing and distributing magazines (primarily in the automotive space) and organizing related events under the popular brand “Autocar”.

Our deal team comprised our Senior Partner Nandish Vyas, Senior Associates Karun Jhangiani and Tanay Chopra, and Associate Tarini Mehtani. They were supported by our Senior Partner Rushabh Maniar, Associates Vartika Sharma and Pranav Mattapalli on the FDI approval, and by Senior Partner Nohid Nooreyezdan and Partner Vikram Shroff on the employment law aspects.
