Mar 31, 2022The Government of Himachal Pradesh issued a Notification implementing the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Himachal Pradesh Amendment Act, 2020 (‘CLRA Act’) on February 03, 2022. This amendment increases the threshold for applicability of the CLRA Act from 20 to 30 workers, for both contractors and principal employer. This amendment will be deemed to have come into force from July 9, 2020.
