Direction Regarding Publication of Service Wise Geospatial Coverage Map

In connection with the Standards of Quality of Service of Access (Wireline and Wireless) and Broadband (Wireline and Wireless) Service Regulations, 2024, TRAI by way of a Notification dated November 22, 2024 (‘Notification’) has issued directions to wireless access providers to publish on their website, service wise (2G/3G/4G/5G) geospatial coverage maps of geographical areas where wireless voice or wireless broadband service is made available for subscription by consumers. Under this Notification, TRAI has prescribed guidelines which must be followed by access providers for publication of such geospatial maps.
